Hum-ZAP uses your human primary antibody to target and eliminate cells. Upon binding to a human IgG that recognizes an extracellular domain of a cell surface antigen, Hum-ZAP will be taken inside the cell by antibody-mediated internalization. The entrance of saporin into the cell will result in protein synthesis inhibition and eventual cell death after 2-4 days. This reagent can be utilized for screening human IgG antibodies for internalization and/or their suitability to make potent immunotoxins.

Elimination of Specific Cell Type

• Cells that internalize your human monoclonal antibody will be eliminated.
• Potency may vary according to the specificity and affinity of YOUR antibody to ITS receptor.
• Second immunotoxins are most effective in determining specificity of your monoclonal antibody and suitability for conjugation as a primary immunotoxin.
• ATS recommends that you order a custom conjugation of your antibody to saporin when the in vitro results confirm the desired specificity.
