Anti-M-ZAP uses your primary mouse monoclonal IgM antibody to target and eliminate cells that recognize your primary antibody. The secondary conjugate uses the secondary antibody (affinity-purified goat anti-mouse IgM) to "piggyback" onto YOUR mouse primary antibody. Anti-M-ZAP can be utilized for screening mouse IgM antibodies for internalization and/or their suitability to make potent immunotoxins. When the in vitro results confirm the desired specificity, it is recommended that you order a custom conjugation of your antibody to saporin.
Elimination of Specific Cell Type
- Cells that internalize your mouse monoclonal IgM antibody will be eliminated.
- Potency may vary according to the specificity and affinity of YOUR antibody to ITS receptor.
- Second immunotoxins are most effective in determining specificity of your monoclonal antibody and suitability for conjugation as a primary immunotoxin.
